Frequently asked questions

Is this a real MongoDB database?

Yes. Databases are provisioned on MongoDB Atlas through its Administration API, with a dedicated database user per database.

How is the 500MB limit enforced?

We monitor real usage reported by the provider and apply warning thresholds and enforcement states. We do not claim a hard physical quota where the provider does not offer one.

Can I connect from anywhere?

The current setup uses 0.0.0.0/0 so clients on changing networks can connect. This allows attempts from any IP; trusted IP ranges are safer whenever your deployment model supports them.

Where are my credentials stored?

Encrypted with AES-256-GCM. They are only decrypted for the authenticated owner of the database.

Can I delete my database?

You can remove the entry from 7amoDB after the app revokes its dedicated Atlas user. Logical data may remain in Atlas and must be removed there separately.
